WHY Alsup's Sportfishing Charters ?

Our standard trip usually consists of salmon fishing in the morning and halibut fishing in the afternoon. We also jig for lingcod (in-season) and yellow-eye rockfish. We can also arrange crabbing and shrimping trips or wildlife watching.

At Alsup's Sportfishing Charters we employ a small sport fishing processing facility to ensure that your catch is vacuum sealed and frozen within hours of being caught.

We design your trip around you, cater to your needs, and from the time you step off the plane until your departure, you are our number one priority.

WHY Sitka ?

Not only is Sitka one of the most picturesque and historically rich locations in all of Southeast Alaska, it is statistically touted as THE BEST place to catch both salmon and halibut. Close to the wide open West Coast yet nestled among hundreds of islands and various inside pasages, Sitka offers prime fishing opportunities in all weather conditions. Although Sitka is small and seemingly remote, it is very accessible. Sitka is serviced by server Alaska Airlines flights daily.
